This loft was going to be a space for storage originaly. But as the work progressed and the velux window was installed, the customer likked the loft more and more as a living space. We left all the roof structure exposed as seen in the pictures including, the original hips and purlins which really characterised the space. Access consisted of a quality set of ladders on a spring loaded hatc for ease of use. Notice the door in the loft as there was more storage incorporated inside.
